Bio
I am a Women’s Wellness expert who specializes in helping women across the lifespan to make positive progress towards their wellness goals. What I have come to know after a decade of healthcare experience ranging from emergency care to specialist women’s healthcare is that traditional medicine, in its current state, is not enough for most women. Most healthcare professionals spend between 9-16 minutes with patients in the clinical setting. This isn’t nearly enough time to work out suitable and sustainable plans to optimize holistic health and wellbeing. It’s not their fault…but don’t we deserve more time to get this right? And don’t we need a sustainable, accessible, and holistic model to help women reach wellness goals more effectively? I think we do.
My purpose at Willful Women is to be the trusted partner and coach of women who wish to take the intentional and deliberate steps towards their health and wellness goals. I aim to use my knowledge and experiences gained as a Registered Nurse, Women’s Health Coach, Registered Paramedic, Academic, Researcher, and friend to help you in your health and wellness journey. As a Women’s Health Coach my duty to you is to guide you towards your full health and wellness potential and we achieve this through making tailored lifestyle changes and through the adoption of health-promoting habits that are realistic, sustainable, and positive! Along the way you’ll develop a deeper understanding of your mind-body connection and your holistic health needs, which will serve you well throughout your life!
I promise to provide a safe space where you are the expert on your own life, where you feel valued, where you feel heard, and where you can be your most authentic self. This will be a place of growth, healing and optimizing your well-being as whole person.
